Use it
Tell your agent: build something new.
forge a website that shows my cat photosIt plans with Opus, builds with Sonnet, reviews, ships and writes a report.
Tell your agent: only make the plan.
forge, only plan and stopIt writes the build spec and stops so you can read it.
Tell your agent: start part-way.
forge --from stage 4It skips to stage 4, the review, when the code already exists.
How it works
- Three planners write separate plans. A judge merges them into one spec.
- Coders build the parts in order. Each part is small and tested.
- Reviewers try to break it. Other agents check each finding before anything is fixed.
- It writes a wiki, ships the site and makes a one-page report.
- Opus
- Anthropic's larger model, used for planning
- Sonnet
- a faster model, used for writing code
- wiki
- plain pages that explain the code
